Supported Cameras

Security Camera Monitor is designed with simplicity in mind. It creates multiple variables as you configure it and click through the intuitive GUI. In order to utilize one of the predefined camera types, your IP camera must adhere to the specific URL syntax for that type. If using the camera type "other", you may enter any URL that your camera supports, thus vastly expanding Security Camera Monitor's compatibility!  Selecting type "Other" also allows you to enter a public Internet feed URL.

Any D-Link Camera that supports the following URL format can use the "DLink" camera type within this application: http://username:password@IPaddress/video.cgi 
Note: Not all D-Link cameras use the above URL. You will have to research your existing camera's URL syntax, or purchase one of these.

Any Linksys camera that supports the following URL format can use the "Linksys" camera type in this application: http://username:password@IPaddress/video.cgi?resolution=VGA 
Note: Not all Linksys cameras use the above URL. You will have to research your existing camera's URL syntax, or purchase one of these.

Any Foscam camera that supports the following URL format can use the "Foscam" camera type in this application: http://IPaddress/videostream.cgi?user=username&pwd=password 
Note: Not all Foscam cameras use the above URL. You will have to research your existing camera's URL syntax.
